    Default Client Side event is Not working , not setting the value onchange for one time but second time it is setting the value,{grid.

    hi i am using Alpha v11 web Application , i am doing on change of the field value i am inserting one more value in a different field name . but onchange of this, the value is not changing for first time, if we change this a second time then then it is setting the value.

    my question is why this is not setting the value onchange of first change .

    on change of Date field :- {grid.object}.setValue('D','SOURCING_FOLLOW_UP_NEEDED','Yes');


    Please help me to resolve this

    I just did a quick grid it does change for the first time itself.
    there is something else blocking the change. take a look at the sourcing follow up needed field do you have any default expression etc.,

    If you've checked "Refresh data on row dirty" in the grid update properties, you will see this behavior. The changes you're making in the client-side event are being overwritten by the ajaxCallback that's issued to your database to fetch current data before continuing with more editing. When the callback completes, it issues a setValue for all the fields you didn't directly edit the first time. You'll see the same behavior in detail views if you've checked "Refresh data on row dirty" in the Detail View properties.
