    Default List Column's "onClick on Column title"

    If I click on the List Column's "onClick on Column title" - within the javascript is there a way to find out which column was it clicked, (say if the list has multiple columns?) Thanks.

    Not sure if there's a better way... but this get's it for you...

    I've got this in the event beforeClientSideSort

    Code:
    var obj = arguments[0];
    for (var sortCol in obj) {
        break;
    }

    alert('Sort column is ' + sortCol);
    I can't see "onClick on Column title". There is an "onRightClick on Column title"... is that what you mean?

    EDIT: I see it now. You have to turn off column sort to see it.

    So... each Column has it's own event. You already know the column. You know you're writing code for that column... e.g. Firstname.

    Thanks! I will try it.
    For custom columns there are both the above events. For regular column only the onRightClick event.

    David, the code did not work for me and I did not find the beforeClientSideSort event. But I realized what you said and I am going by that - Thanks!.

    The beforeClientSideSort event is in the List control events.
