    Post Right Click Browser Menu Pops Up Along with My Right Click Action

    I have a list on a UX and want to setup the right click action to open another list(menu) to be able to preform a few quick actions on that list but have had a problem come up.

    In the photo below you will notice as I right click the browser menu pops up which obviously I don't want to happen.

    I'm not sure how to disable this menu but to still allow right click for my menu. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks so much for any insight to this :-)

    That is a freaking nice job on the styling! Is that a tabbedUI?

    Not sure how to disable browser menu ....but Alpha offers you a double (left) click event you may want to consider.

    Lily - a bit of googling I found this:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    document.oncontextmenu = function() {
        return false;
    }
    </script>
    I tried it (putting it in the head section) and it seems to work. But I didn't try it against a page with a component and right-click event on it. Worth a try.

    Hi Steve!!!!! :-) Thanks so much, that is EXACTLY what I needed, I was just finding results to disable right click which wasn't helping me at all. I appreciate it!

    Hey Josh, thanks :-)

    It's a UX component.

    I found a pre-built theme I liked and deconstructed it and then shoved it into a free form container and then plugged in alpha stuff everywhere.

    It's way better than building a theme from scratch :-)

    Steve, thanks so much for that code to turn off the browser right click. The browser right click menu has been a thorn in my side with my users...
