Hi There,
Thank you for having a look.
I'm new to the calendar component and just having a play with it.
I watched the tutorial and followed it as guided. However an error msg came up. Can you help me fix it?
The error msg was due to the component having trouble finding the jquery object. See picture jquery.jpgjquery.jpg
From deductive reasoning, I realised the jquery.js musn't be included/called. I then found the xbasic code within the component and edited the xbasic so the jquery functionality was loaded and then prevent the error. See picture xbasiccode.jpgxbasiccode.jpg
This is the end result of the edited xbasic code. See picture xbasiccodeedited.jpgxbasiccodeedited.jpg
However, when viewing the component in livepreview, the very same error msg kept on coming up, and when I view source, it displayed the old code as seen in picture viewsource.jpg. That is, it wasn't showing the updated changes made to the xbasic code.viewsource.jpg
Therefore, the xbasic code didn't seem to be picking up or reading the new code or changes.
As a work around (temporary bandaid), I pasted all of the code from jquery.js into the Web2Cal-2.0-min.js so that it was able to access the jquery functionality, even though I couldn't get the xbasic code to adjust.
Do you know why the xbasic code wouldn't be updating and how to work around it (so we can remove the bandaid solution!)
Thank you
Sherrie
