International date xbasic help please

Hi,

I have an app that supports users configured with "dd/MM/yyyy" and "MM/dd/yyyy" date formats using SESSION.__PROTECTED__CLIENTSIDEDATEFORMAT and fields display format set to time("{dialog.clientSideDateFormat}",<value>).

I'm stuck on how to apply an xbasic date function like addmonths() when e.DataSubmitted.date could be in either format. Any suggestions?

Solved the problem in case anyone is interested. If there is a more elegant solution please let me know.
