upgrade and windows 10

I purchase version 9 and it has been working flawlessly and I don't want to upgrade to the latest version but after installing Windows 10 I can no longer access my database. I really need the databased files urgently. Please help!

Have you tried administrator and compatibility mode??

There are a number of threads running on the forum about win8 and win10.

Is your application for the web or for desktop?

Where is the database located?

In the program files directory or somewhere else? Probably should be elsewhere.

Does Alpha version 9 not start or it starts and a5v9 can't find( or can't see) the database?

I'm guessing that you upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10... yes?

I tried the administrator mode but still get error stating the program is not licensed to work with Windows 10. I tried opening in administrator mode with Microsoft Access and was at least able to open dbf file.

Did you try running in the compatibility mode prior to Windows 10?

I have win 8 and a5v8 running together.

May I suggest to:
go to the alpha exe file in program files and choose compatibility mode for XP(if you can) and do the same for the shortcut on the desktop?
do everything as administrator.

I don't have v9 loaded - I can load v8 possibly

Ok, Just loaded a5v8 and opened and ran alphasports on my laptop. Worked fine
