Export Help Needed Please

Hello all,

We have an old copy of Alpha4v3 that hosts our service business inventory and billing. We would like to finally upgrade to a new software package but need to get our data out of Alpha. Unfortunately, the person who programmed the database has passed on, and left us without the export password. I'm hoping that someone may be able to help with a default password or common passwords used for this ? Any help is appreciated.

Make a copy of your database files (in case something goes splat). Once the copy is made and stored in a safe place. Open that data files using MS Excel. It is my understanding that a DBF table can be read using Excel. Then you can use excel's tools to export the data as you need.
