Missing the value on the Auto-increment field

Hi All,

I ran this code, the auto-increment field is missing or skipping for the first line of my selection. Does any one know why?

Not sure.
I don't use character for autoincrement, preferring numeric. It does look like you have it set up right though.

None were deleted records?

And then there is debug(1)

I still have the same problem and could not fix or find the solution.
I want to write or forced to have the Auto-increment with xbasic

but the " INCREMENT_VALUE(If(PREVIOUS("Prdctavail_id")="","0000000000",previous("Prdctavail_id"))) "
or
" INCREMENT_VALUE(If(PREVIOUS("tAvl.Prdctavail_id")="","0000000000",previous("tAvl.Prdctavail_id"))) "
has an Error.

What is wrong on the code?

Wouldn't
vId = tablemax("prdctavail",".t.","prdctavail_id)

be the same as:
tAvl = table.open("prdctavail",FILE_RW_SHARED)
tAvl.fetch_last()
vId = tAvl.Prdctavail_id

so that you could use:
If vId =""
vAutoId ="000000000"
else
vAuotId =INCREMENT_VALUE(vId)
end if

Assuming of course that recno() order is the same as ordering by prdctavail_id

Yes it is same but I already open the table so, tAvl.fetch_last() get same thing.
I did where the enter(save) code as

	tAvl.enter_begin()
                tAvl.My_id = If(vId="","00000",INCREMENT_VALUE(vId) )   'shorten than the original
		tAvl.series_id = vSeriesId
		tAvl.shape_id = cShapeId
	tAvl.enter_end(.t.)
