    Default PhoneGap Login Error

I've got a project that consists of a UX from the SecurityFramework-LoginComponentMobileApp template. I have setup security but after publishing to IIS and sending thru PhoneGap I get the following error when trying to login.

I've got "Has integrated Login functionality" checked on the UX properties but I'm still getting this error?

Thanks for any suggestions, just trying to do the simplest login test.

Have you published the component? Was "Has integrated Login functionality" always checked... or did you check it after publishing and not re-publish? The easiest way to work your way through these issues is to open your component and then click on the Save Page button in the menu. This will create an A5W page with your component embedded. Now, set security for the a5w and your component to Always Allowed and publish both. Now you can open the a5w page in a desktop browser and test your login functionality without having to bother with PhoneGap Build. Once past this issue, you can then starting using PhoneGap Build again.

In general, as much as possible, test locally first... it's much faster.

Any update on this Mr. Moss? It's been causing me major drama the past few days. I've found that components with login functionality are working fine on my iOS device, but does not work when I am using an Android device. Strange. I've tried generating it under every PhoneGap build option and have experienced the same Login failure (no message, just no response upon clicking Login).

For anyone else stumbling on to this post...

The first several dozen times I sent my project to PhoneGap and downloaded it, the callback settings did NOT include the http:// prefix (had only the IP numbers). This worked fine.

Then, for no known reason, my apps started failing. Nothing would move beyond the login. After days of spaghetti throwing, I added the http:// prefix to my IP address in the PhoneGap settings...and viola! Everything started working again. WTF...

I've never set this property without using the http prefix. This property calls for a valid URL and in-line documentation states examples using http. Maybe things got tightened up. I'd suggest validation on this property to ensure it is a valid URL.
