Default Starting a discussion group for Alpha Web Server for IIS

I am starting a discussion group on Alpha Web Server for IIS.

The first one is set for next Tuesday 8/30 at 10AM Pacific Time. After that initial meeting, I will schedule meetings every week or other week at times that work for everyone. This is not a training session; the purpose is for us to compare notes and share insight on Alpha IIS in terms of installation, deployment, performance, etc.

Because it is not a formal training session it is best suited for developers who have installed Alpha for IIS or at least started the process. I would love to have some IIS experts attend even if they have not installed Alpha for IIS.

    To register, go to http://iadn.com/webinars.a5w.

So far we have nine folks signed up for the discussion group on Alpha Web Server for IIS. Should be a good discussion. You can join us by registering at http://iadn.com/webinars.a5w. A "discussion" means it is not a formal training session. Instead, a bunch of experienced developers will share their insight on the subject. I expect it to be very useful, maybe better than a formal training session.

I would love to be a part of the discussion but that time of day is impossible for me. Will it be recorded?

    Gary,

I don't want to record because it is a 'discussion' not a training session. But I will be taking notes to selectively share afterwards. We want to find out who has actually deployed this version, problems encountered, bugs and other issues, performance, viability and other concerns. So far, Alpha is not participating directly so I do not know if the results will be useful to them. Over the five-week series, I am hoping all participants push to complete their IIS installation and continue to test for performance. My primary interest is does it in fact actually increase the number of users that can use the application at the same time, and how you have to configure the machine for high-usage.
