    Default Looking for an event that fire when using AlphaLaunch

    Hi,

    What event can be used for determining if the application has been launched by AlphaLaunch? I'd like to use it for checking if I need to show the Exit Alpha Launch item on the menu of my mobile application.

    What I saw that there is an event that fire OnPhoneGapReady and I'm using it for setting a variable that I can later check and see that I can use a PhoneGap plugin and it will be nice if there will be an internal A5 function that can be use instead.

    there is no event that fires if an app is running in AlphaLaunch. but you can still tell if an app is running in AlphaLaunch by testing if this Javascript variable is defined

    A5.shell

    for example

    if(A5.shell) {
    alert('running in AlphaLaunch');
    } else {
    alert('not running in AlphaLaunch');
    }

    Similarly, you can check if you are running in PhoneGap by checking if the cordova global variable exists

    for example

    if (typeof window['cordova'] != 'undefined') {
    alert('running in phonegap');
    } else {
    alert('not running in phonegap');
    }
