So first I will state what it is I am actually trying to accomplish, perhaps there's a different or better way to go about it than Sub Reports...
I am trying to make a report that has various sections, each filtered differently.
One section showing Priority = "High", one showing Status = "Issues", another Status = "In Progress", etc...
It was appearing to me that you were not able to filter sections separately, so I thought the solution I was looking for was Sub Reports.
My problem with the Sub Reports, is that they are not saving.
I open the report, create a sub report, save it, go back to the main report... All looks good. Create a new sub report, save, back to main, still looks good. Or so It SEEMS.
I started noticing that when I close the Sub Report and am looking at the main report again... although I can see the main report and edit it, it is not actually open. It is not showing as an open tab in Alpha, and clicking the close button does NOTHING. If I try to re-open it, it says it's already open. If I completely close Alpha and then come back in, I can open the report, however it has now reverted back to the pre Sub Report state. I have tried on multiple different occasions over the past couple weeks. I have started a brand new report from scratch thinking the existing one may be somehow corrupted, but this odd behavior continues.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this some sort of bug? I looks briefly but was unable to find others having this issue. I tried following the official Alpha documentation on Sub Reports, but I cant seem to figure out what the issue is.
