    Default MariaDB Tools - Recommendations?

I may be picking up a new account soon that uses MariaDB. Looking for recommendations as to what database tools other developers like.

    This looks promising: https://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/studio/

    Anyone have experience with it?

HeidiSQL price–performance ratio is very good.

I use several platforms and most have sql creation and methods for such things as triggers/queries/backups and more +++.
    Some do not.
Since I use mostly mysql/Maria, I use sqlyog or webyog to do the other ones or to modify as needed.

Monyog is for monitoring, if needed.

I prefer SQLYog over HeidiSQL, but just my personal opinion.

SQLYog has a free community version also.

You didn't mention what database you are using now, but one important consideration is to select a tool that will handle both. Then you only have to learn one. For me, that is Navicat.

I use MariaDB v10 and SQLYog.

I own WebYog but am not currently using it.

I use Navicat - which I purchased a license for - on my own machine because it connects to just about anything.

I use HeidiSQL when I need a free version.

I use Navicat. Have it on my computer and customer has it on theirs. Works well and they are continually updating it.

I've been on mariadb for a long time. HeidiSQL is free and great for running queries and browsing data. I use MySQL Workbench to do any designing. SQLYog looks interesting, i'll be looking into that.

Like Ted I use Toad, great tool unfortunately no longer available, now Toad Edge which in my mind is not as good although it has some good JSON stuff, but nothing you can't do in Alpha and it is no longer free - $145/user/year

I can still find Toad Freeware links Lance. I would not go the Toad Edge route.
