email oddity

I just noticed recently that every reply to a messageboard topic is reported as coming from DrGaryTraub as shown in the image below.
Is it just my system doing this, or is it happening with other people as well ?

I think it is your email program. Email address www_smtp… is linked somehow to Gary.

Now to find out if the change I made fixes the problem.

I made a change to my contacts, and suddenly the sender is no longer DrGaryTraub.
