I created a grid with an associated report where the SQL filter and SQL order were defined by CurrentGridFilter() and CurrentGridOrder(), respectively. The report always reflected the user's selected filters and sorting in the report. This was developed about a year ago. Today, I got a message from a user that they could not get the report to print in the correct order. I have looked at the SQL generated by the grid and examined the values of
a5_getReportSQLFilter() and a5_getReportSQLOrder() in the report. The report always has a blank order (in a5_getReportSQLOrder) regardless of my choices in the grid. The filter works appropriately.
In order to determine if this was something in my particular grid, I decided to make a generic example using AlphaSports to see if the problem persisted. I created a grid and companion report (called by an action button). In my example, the user cannot filter so we are only concerned with changes to order by clicking column titles. The report never seems to get the value of the CurrentGridOrder(). I have the values of a5_getReportSQLFilter() and a5_getReportSQLOrder() printed in the footer of the report. Both are blank, but I would expect the filter to be blank - not the order. I have uploaded my example grid and report and a screenshot of my Alpha Anywhere version: 12.4.5.4.5 Build 5221

Do you think this could be a bug? I have not sent a report to Alpha at this point.
Thanks for your help,
Donna
