Hi All,
I have a large desktop application that uses DBF as the file structure. The desktop app makes extensive use of image reference fields that work fine and are encoded using an alias as part of the image ref path. I am trying to now "share" some of this data to a website using the same DBF files. I am having trouble getting the images to display...it appears because of alias issues. Attached is a screenshot of an "Image Reference Field Debugging" A5W page that I made using the instructions in the help file. As you can see, everything resolves and the image shows correctly. The problem is when I try to use any of the image reference fields in a grid the name cannot be resolved and gives the message in the other screenshot. It appears Alpha is using (combining) the alias path for the actual DBF "[PathAlias.ADB_Path]" file and the alias used in the image reference field "[MMPUptimePhotos]". The paths shown in the error message screenshot are the resolved values of those 2 aliases. I have include the aliases used in the profile (below) for reference. It appears Alpha is adding the resolved path for the DBF files used in the grid and the alias used in the actual image reference field. The "error" message is coming from a simple one field grid that has the image reference field in it for testing. I wanted to make it as simple as possible to try and sort out this issue. I know most of you are using a variety of SQL but since I have the large legacy DBF application for the desktop side of things...this is not an option for me at this point. Any help in figuring this out would be appreciated.
[PathAlias.ADB_Path] = =a5.get_path()
[MMPUptimePhotos] = F:\UptimePlus\mmp_photos
Thanks,
Jeff
