    Default Multi-Location Wi-Fi Rollout

Has anyone been involved in a wi-fi installation that needs to cover 3 adjacent industrial properties? They have/use minimal wi-fi presently but are looking for optimal performance across the 3 properties. They have fiber running between the properties. Apart from Cisco/Meraki are there other commercial wi-fi network/router/access point equipment manufacturers we should be looking at? Would ASUS and Netgear be in the mix or are they just for smaller home networks?

we use unifi mesh from ubnt, cannot rate it highly enough. All their wifi kit is quite frankly amazing.

You buy it, setup a controller on an old PC running windows or linux, config, and forget. it takes about 1/2 a day to get setup.
All their kit is POE based, you can run multiple wifi networks of the same APs.

The only downside is its so easy there is no sense of satisfaction netgear was always such an achievement when it finally worked.

the new mesh stuff is brilliant as you can have 1 or 2 hard wired APs then build out a mesh of self healing wifi points that connect back.

We use 4 APs to cover a 8000sqm warehouse full off metal trolleys.

We have point to point bridges upto 1km with no line of sight due to trees. A site wide network of 11 access points covering 10 acres of glasshouses. 2 wifi mesh networks, the list goes on and it all just works.

Their CCTV and Toughswitches are nice as well.

Thanks for your comment. Very interesting. Ubiquiti definitely looks like a great solution.
