    Default A5 Application Server Issue

    I'm just now trying to work on web-based development in A5 but having problems starting the Application Server.

    The error code I receive is "Startup Failed -The main server thread failed to start.

    I have a valid license in the sessions section and have tried ports other than 80.

    Have also checked firewall to ensure A5 access. Any ideas as to what the issue might b?

    Check the error log for details.

    I did..that is the error message from the log.

    re install A5 app server.

    You probably have a permissions issue some where - possibly the A5WebRoot.

    That's what it appears to be but I've checked all folder permissions and they are good.

    Also, When I try to run working preview on a component I receive a "navigation to the webpage was cancelled" message.

    PROBLEM SOLVED BY REINTSALLING VER 11 FULL. Something must have become corrupt, but a reinstall did the trick. Thanks Art.
