I mentioned this in another post that talks about IIS not compressing things. But I think this deserves its own post.

In a simple tabbedUI test application with two Grids where tabbedUI opens Grid "A" which then opens Grid "B" both Grids end up downloading an extra 760K bytes to client when opened if they each have a simple Transient message box. If the server has compression turned on then I think it only takes an extra 126K.
