    Default a5_seurity option file generated to be encrypted

    we have a button that created / exports a "User_group_info for ourapp.user_accounts" file before our application if upgraded by a user. There is a problem though as some of the passwords in this file can be read by a simple text app. Any fix on this?

    Here is a what it looks like in the editor. Don't have a clue why some users seem to have encrytped passwords while others don't (joeblow).

    <users<[1]<user_name="Bob Viewer">
    <password="joeblow">
    <script="">
    <user_id="72964cdef6974db5b66df2b87322d738">
    >
    <[2]<TEXT="">
    <user_name="Dave Mechanic">
    <password=" 834C3D60D84E11303F54A7DABAACB567">
    <script="">

    The password for Dave and Ed look to be the same encryption pattern.
    Joe has a numeric start to the user id.
    I'd check that there is actual encryption going on first.
    If you are happy that it is, try a simple exercise with just one name

    In real life in this example I gave, ALL 3 users (Bob, Dave & Ed) listed have the same password. Seems user #1 is non encrypted while the rest are.

    I checked the complete user file text that shows all six users with passwords and it appears user #1 and the last one user #6 BOTH show the password (joeblow), the other 4 are encrypted. ALL 6 users have the same password "joeblow". This is in our DEMO application.

    Well that answers one question.

    Edit. I cannot get it to fail with my simple tests. May we see the method/code you are using please?
