Default Error Message Help - "index html"

I have a Alpha Launch app that is giving this error message everytime I tap on a menu item running on an iPad.
I can close the error message and the app continues.

I have deleted the app from the iPad, re-installed the app and retarted my server.
I have even removed all panel cards except two and still same error message.

I have a similar iPhone app that works without the error message.

    Build 4770 5018

Any ideas on where I might start to look for what I have broken before I start over?

    Thanks
    Tony

It's possible that your iPhone app doesn't run into this error because the hideDock method never gets called... the layout on an iPhone doesn't show the docked panel until you ask for it. On an iPad you've got lots of room, so the panel always shows... and then you get the error.

Create another test app for the iPad with the same panel layout... see if you get the same error. Try the UX template... MobileAppFramework_TwoPanel_Responsive Layout... see if that gives you the same error.

4770 is over 2 years old. Have you tried a more recent build?

I tried the iPhone app as you suggested and the error did not appear. I will start replacing the panels one at a time til the error message reappears.

I an using 4770 because we use an old desktop app and an issue with menus was introduced back in the Dec official patch.
The issue has been fixed in a pre release build ..... I was hoping an new offcial patch would be coming soon.

    Thanks

You mean that you tried your iPhone app on your iPad and you see the Docked Panel... but get no errors?

Yes - I tried my iPhone app on my iPad and yes - I see the docked panels, and no errors.
The process of building my iPad app was duplicate my iPhone_Menu app and name iPap_Menu and made many changes to take advantage of the space.
The 3 panels that had docked panels .... I changed to not have docked panels.
After errors appeared, I completely deleted the above 3 panels and still had errors.
I even deleted all panels except 1 very simple panel card, and still showed errors.
    Thanks
    Tony
