    Default email a report not working on desktop client

    I have developed an app that emails a report using the default email (Outlook).
    It works fine on my computer, but will not work on the desktop clients. The client machines all use the same version of Windows 10, Alpha 5 VS 12 and Outlook 365.
    When running on the client, there is a slight hesitation and then nothing visible happens.

    Are the client email profiles set up correctly?
    They may be different for each machine.

    I was thinking that it had to be something related to email setup, however, my app is using the default email client, which is Outlook. All our clients use same version of Outlook. So, I don't really even know what email parameters to check. I was thinking that maybe the Alpha email setup needs to be done for the clients, even though I did not do that for my developer version. I'm sure there is just some little think I am missing, because it works great on my Alpha developer version.

    Go to Control Panel, View, Settings, Email.
    There is help in the On-Line Help section regarding setting up email.
    You will need to get the passwords sorted as well as the user names.
    Each user will probably have a different password and email address.

    We have transitioned to SMTP e-mail as we can control the user-id and password more closely. We save the report as a PDF, then do the SMTP e-mail send.
    If you aren't concerned about "who" is sending the e-mail then this might be a better choice. This has worked well for us.
