I don't think it's designed to be an interface for Alpha or any other product.

It's a simple system for emails.

Probably should google for it. Looked a few months ago, but don't remember the links I found explaining that.

Just a quick note about this that might help someone since I had to research the whole issue of desktop based emailing from Alpha (and Filemaker) with the effective end of Windows Live Mail as replaced by the Windows Mail app. Essentially the Windows Mail app is no longer what is called a MAPI emailing program. And so standard databases like Alpha and Filemaker (the two I know reasonably) cannot connect directly to them since such is achieved by using MAPI codes. This is also why such databases cannot directly link to a web browser to send emails. Recently I have also come across the fact that Outlook 64bit versions no longer use the simple but old MAPI SendDocument request code, which is used by the Alpha Five Send To dropdown/code. An error message will come up asking you to set Outlook as the default email, but doing so makes no difference! To interact between Alpha Five desktop and Outlook 64bit versions requires the use of the Alpha Five 'Email_Client_External' function, as that uses a more complex MAPI code that is still supported by Outlook 64bit versions.
