Closing Forms

Since updating to the latest patch for v12, a number of my buttons on forms to close the form have stopped working & the forms can only be closed by clicking the X on the window. In fact if you click the button it can cause a hang in Alpha.
These buttons have been working fine for years & the buttons still work on some forms.
Changing the code to alternative methods to close the form makes no difference.
Any suggestions as to why these would stop working.

PS is a database compact required after an alpha 5 patch?

Just to add to this my Login Script uses "A5.close()" if the password is incorrect. This used to work but now leave the Alpha window hanging and can only be closed via the task manager.

Shortly after issuing Build 4269, Alpha changed the Microsoft C Compiler from version 1800 to 1916. I have found Build 4269 to be very stable. I have tried numerous different builds after 4269, and they all contain bugs. I have submitted numerous bug reports and a co-developer has a bug report in right now. It's very important to list your Build when posting to the board. Your issue may require submitting a bug report to get it resolved.

A bug report was submitted on this and it was fixed, but so far the fix is only in pre-release.
