Working in Alpha5 V8 - we are getting 'heap lock failure' when entering a new record -- what does this mean and how is it fixed? I have searched the message board but really do not see an answer.

Check your indexes for the tables involved - especially those that may have filters. Right click on the table in the control panel and under Utilities, run Check Indexes. Assuming that feature was available in ver 8...
