    Default Refresh component after login

We have a mobile login component/webapp which has buttons which are shown/hidden depending on security groups. The only way to get them to display as expected is to do a browser refresh after logging in.

The server-side event 'onLogin' documentation says the following:

'e.url - (optional) the target URL after a sucessful login. TIP: To reload the current component after a successful login, set e.url to '<thisComponent>'

What is the actual syntax required to get this to work? The component name is index.a5wcmp which is opened in a page called index.a5w.

    Thanks

Browser refreshes are usually brute-force, and look like it to the user.

If you can, it might be better to make the show/hide conditions client-side. Then you can use {dialog.object}.refreshClientSideComputations() if necessary.

    Syntax: e.url = "index.a5w"

I'm not entirely sure. I'm using the standard app server.

You should post what version of Alpha you are using here. Lastly, have you made sure your development version is the same as the production server's?

There is an action javascript to "repaint the object"" and you may need to do that. Also, there is server side and client side "show/hide" for each button you add to the UX. In some cases we have different embedded UX's for each type of user. This can help eliminate some of those browser based issues.
