    Default http_fetch overlooked

    Taking the example from http fetch and plugging in the web site shown in my example dosen't work.

    dim p as P

    dim p.host as C = "https://pubtitles.co.pinellas.fl.us/login/loginx.jsp"

    'dim p.page as C = "/"

    dim alpha as P

    alpha = http_fetch(p,.t.)

    a5_show_html(alpha.body)

    Guidance to make this work would be appreciated.

    Am I to understand that using http_fetch will let me get a web page
    fill in the form blanks and send it back to the server just as if I keyed it in.

    http_fetch() does not support HTTPS, you cannot use it for this URL. You'll need to use http_get_page2() or http_post_page2() for HTTPS

    http_get() and http_post() do most of what http_fetch() does, but with an easier syntax because they are in fact wrappers around http_fetch(). http_fetch() gives you more control to set headers and other options, but you can use http_get() or http_post() to submit a web page as well.
