Filter in Tabbed grid linker

I am trying to filter the parent component in a tabbed grid linker based on a session variable. I'm using the following code based on the regular GridLinker:

Delete tmpl_TabbedGridLinker
DIM tmpl_TabbedGridLinker as P
tmpl_TabbedGridLinker = a5w_load_component("Tab_List_Contents")
'======= Set a filter on the parent ===========
with tmpl_TabbedGridLinker
with tmpl.Grid_Info[1]
if eval_valid("session.vsLi_Id")=.t.
.OverrideSettings=""%code%
.DBF.filter="Li_Id="quote(session.vsLi_Id)
%code%
end if
end with
end with

The error I get is
tmpl.grid_info[1] not found

Is there something I need to add?

Also, if I can get that to work, then I want to hide the columns in the child components that have blank headings. I do that now in the stand alone child with the following code:

Delete tmpl_Co_List
DIM tmpl_Co_List as P
tmpl_Co_List = a5w_load_component("Co_List")

componentName = "Co_List"

I assume that I should put some similar code in to override grid.info[2] through grid.info[5]?

OK, I figured out the filter part...DUH! there's a button called "override settings" for that that I didn't see!

Now if I can figure out how to hide the columns...

Sure.

For the parent, I used
DBF.filter = "Li_Id="+quote(session.vsLi_Id)
where Li_id is a field in the table and the session variable was set prior to calling the page.


and to hide the columns, for each of the childs I used
field_info[4].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[1])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[5].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[2])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[6].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[3])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[7].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[4])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[8].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[5])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[9].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[6])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[10].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[7])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[11].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[8])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[12].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[9])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[13].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[10])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[14].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[11])="",.t.,.f.)
field_info[15].column.hide=if(alltrim(session.CL[12])="",.t.,.f.)

This hides columns 4 through 15 if the session array entry is blank. Before calling the page, I check the headings and populate the array.

For the child tables, you have to have all the code in one line with the setting listed first.
