Hi,
I hope I'm just doing something stupid, but I'm stuck.
I have created a very simple index page, (index.a5w) just to make sure things work. It has a banner, a graphic, and one a5w component placed within a table.
After I publish it, in IE and Netscape, it displays the banner, the graphic, and the table, but not the a5w component. In Firefox, what displays is the source code.
I'm stuck. I can't figure out if I have something in the alias list wrong (the path.alias is set to the local computer where the database is located.) All the files properly publish to the public_html folder, which is the default folder on my ISP.
I also can't figure out why the source code shows up on Firefox rather than the page itself. Is there some Firefox setting I need to change? All the browsers find the index.html as the default file, rather than index.a5w.
WAS is licensed and activated. Did I misunderstood something and I can't use it on my own ISP, I have to use on the A5 hosts? Are there some other files I have to download to make the alpha function work?
Any help would be appreciated. The site is
annionawarrner.com
index.a5w
index.html are both on the site. If you switch between the two you can see that the table grows a litte in the a5w version, since that's where the component is located.
