    Default port 80

Having installed the software on my remote server using the remote desktop client I am unable to start the server as I am already using port 80 for the remote desktop.

Question - if I change the remote server to use port 81 will it work

or is there yet a way to autostart the server on boot? ie I can reboot the remote server and disconnect while it reboots

    thanks

The Web App Server can run on any port that is not already in use. However, using a port other than 80 will change your URL from something like http://myserver/ to http://myserver:81/

The Web App Server can start automatically when Alpha Five starts, but it cannot run as a Windows service. The solution most people use is to configure Windows to automatically log on using a specific user account and then place Alpha Five into that account's Startup program group.
