disply last record after submit

hello,

i`ve create web application form, i`ve create userid,first name, last name, and address. How do i set after submit the form then it will redirect to another page that can display ONLY LAST record for userid? because i`ve hide the userid on current form, i want display it after submit the form. Thanks.

Imran:
If you are using Grid..
1. you can change the target page on the entry form (Grid-"Update Settings-"Customization-"Target = getlastUserID.a5w) to go to a new page (getlastUserID.a5w).
or if you are using a Dialog, make the current form rediect to to getLastUserID.a5w in the AfterValidate.
2. This new page retrieves the last userid using xbasic.
3. Then redirects to a page the contains a grid to view this last record, using a filter on the component.

here is a sample of getLastUserID.a5w

NOTE: I use numeric key values, if you are using characters you will need to change the lastID to c and not use the STR() function on the filter
Also, in a multi-user environment, someone may have entered another user between saving your new record and retrieving the last record.

I am not sure what you are asking here...do want the last record in the table? It would be pretty much the same except you don't need to set the index;
