Hello to everyone.
I First put my company logo in years ago. I have recently wanted to add another "picture". I purchased a new scanner and scanned it in. It seems this scanner will not support ".PCX" anymore. I have saved it under the ".Tif" format, but all I get is one beep error message and the picture does not show on the letter.
I had the picture scanned in at a "Graphics" establishment. They saved it under the ".PCX" format. The letter seems to read it (at least I don't get the beep error), but all it shows is a "blob" of dark mass where the picture should be.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I read another string about having to get an old DOS machine and scan it in under windows 3.1. Is this the only correction?
Has anyone purchased a scanner that will accept PCX of TIF format that actually works? If so, I am sure everyone would love to know the make and model along with what version of windoz you may have.
If using an old Dos machine with win 3.1 is the only fix, do you have to get and old scanner as well? Will the new scanners work?
Thanks Alot.
