Hello All,
Many people feel that GNU General Public License software and resources are devoted entirely to the Linux Operating System. I can tell you that this is not the case at all. With this in mind, http://sourceforge.net/ has a wonderful assortment of Xbasic documentation, utilities, and even code fragments available to anyone who wants to use them. Not only that but they also offer the source code for an Xbasic compiler so that those who use Xbasic can see exactly how the internal engines of the language work. Many other utilities are available free of charge under the GPL that will convert between various Operating System formats. This might be helpful if you spent time developing a database or internal script for a Linux box (or any number of other real operating systems) and now want to convert it for use within Alpha Five's Xbasic aware system.
I have no affiliation with this organization and only found the link to it while eagerly awaiting my Alpha Five package.(I wanted to get a head start on learning the Xbasic programming language, so I needed a way to get the documentation legally.) I believe that you will find the documentation extremely helpful and hope that you find this link useful in your Alpha Five Xbasic programming endeavors.
Good Luck
