Default moving alpha4.2 for Dos to Windows 98

Am using alpha 4.2 for dos, but will soon need to move to windows 98. How can I migrate the data as painlessly as possible?

I assume you are using Alpha 4 V2? If so copy all the files from the dos machine to the win machine ( or the full directories)
In config sys set "files=255" (can be less)
On desktop create a shortcut to the executable (Been a while since I used ver 2 but I think if the networked version its A4net.exe???, or look at what dos is starting it with)
Right click on icon on desktop, properties, close on exit, memory auto, Thats about it.
Runs great under win98, If you want to stay with dos check out A4ver 6. Many, many improvements, and will run the ver 2 apps.
