converting access files to alpha 5 v1

I need help in converting Microsoft Access 2000 database files to Alpha 5 V1. Can anyone help me?

Carie,

In Microsoft Access:
1. select the table
2. right click and choose Export...
3. select Save as type = dBase 5
then

In A5, just open the file you exported.

Note: Due to incompatability of field types,
some data may not be exported.

You can also try exporting as a text file from MS Access

Thanks Melvin. I tried but like you said some files didn't transfer and I cannot open it in A5. How do you export as a text file from MS Access?

Same as above but
Save as type = text
or try whatever other file types are available.

Another method would be to open the access table with excel, then save it as a dBase file to be opened by Alpha.
