Hi,
During the last few days, the tables have been disappearing from the control panel.
I start the computor, go to Alpha5, I get the "welcome to Alpha5" window, I select the existing database, and then I get an empty control panel for that database.
I have two possible databases to select from that I have made, + the invoices sample database of A5.
On one database, I get an empty control panel, on the other I get a control panel with the tables but kind of faded out/not clearly shown(and not usable), on the sample/invoices database it is normal.
I can rt click on the empty control panel, see the tables, and then add them back one by one; so maybe it is the icons dissapearing not the tables. After I add the tables to the control panel the app works as normal as before.
If I then get out of A5, and then start A5 again they are there. If I switch off the the computor and switch back on they are there ok.
If I switch off the computor and leave it off for some long time, maybe more than 24 hrs, or not go into Alpha5 for that time period, it often loses the tables from the control panel.
So it is intermittant, based on time not being used on those tables/databases, - it seems.
I have those database stored in a seperate folder underneath A5V4, but in the same directory. As read from the file.
I have just noticed that I do have more than one folder named the same which holds this data of the tables. I guess this may be the problem ? In which case, how do I decide which one to eliminate, and how should I do it.
As this only happens with the applications/tables that I have constructed, I assume it is an A5 problem with those tables/databases, and not an A5 overall problem nor a computor problem.
I would greatly appreciate help on this.
Brian.
