renaming path for "added" tables

I made a mistake.
When initially getting my feet wet with A5, I pulled tables in from 2 different places. After having read a post from yesterday about file portability, it occurred to me that I should check my own source paths. Oops.
I wish to move, copy tables from these separate places to a new folder. How or where does one change the paths?
Please, oh please, don't tell me all this work has been for naught.

Right now your database (not DBF, remember) has tables in two different folders, right? If so, decide which folder you want all your tables in (say DATA). Then go to Windows Explorer, and copy ALL the files from the other folder into DATA.

Next, right-click on the tables that are NOT in DATA, and select Drop from Database (don't worrry, they won't be deleted). Then right-click somewhere away from the table names, select New, and then find DATA. Now click on each table that was in the wrong folder (the ones you copied to DATA). When you do this, Alpha will also bring over the data dictionaries which contain the reports, etc.

Once you're sure you've got what you want (make sure all the tables have the same path), and you have all your reports and such, it is safe to delete the tables in the wrong folder.

One thing to think about:
If you have defined sets while the tables were in different locations, you will have to redefine your sets to reflect the locations of your tables in the new location ( one folder ). Hopefully you will not have to delete anything, just restablish the set relationships pointing to the child tables in the new location. Make a backup before doing this. The same will be true of certain field rules that reference tables in a different location.
