Is there an archive of the old messages around?

And while I'm asking, what's a "tag" as in close current tag or close all tags?

At least there is no voting for posts around here.

...Now I am weeping for sure - there IS voting for posts.

    Default Closing Tag

A tag could be called an instruction. Most tags are paired, that is, they have an open and close (or start and end). If you want to bold something, in front of the first character you wanted bolded you place a less than sign <b>, enter what you want bolded and following the last character to be bolded, enter </b> (this is the close tag). If you leave off the close tag, the browser gets confused and doesn't always know what to do and could render the content incorrectly.

Tag, eh. You DO know that HTML is a four-letter word? <g>

I turned it off in Options and no longer see tag warnings, possibly because this is a Quick reply. IAC Off is A Good Thing.

Yes, you can get to all the old messages by clicking on the A5v5, a5v4, etc forums. They link back to the old forums until I am finished with importing the data.

I am in the midst of importing the a5v6 forum right now.
