Default Parent table based on query of child table.

I have a demographic parent file and a child dated transaction file. I want a non-repeating list of all the names of the people who had transactions after January 1 of 2004. I can't figure out the right query. Thanks. Ed

Default RE: Parent table based on query of child table.

From the "Please read before posting"....

The more detail you provide about your problem or question, the more likely someone is to
understand your request and be able to help. A sample table with a minimum of
records (and its support files, zipped together) will make it much easier to
diagnose issues with lookups, Xdialogs, etc.

Where do you want "a non-repeating list of all the names of the people who had transactions after January 1 of 2004"? On a report you would create a group around the details section and place the names in either the group header or footer and specify "first".
