Hi again,

Trying to use SQL attach to an Access 2000 .mdb file and get strange results. Date formatted fields are coming across as Charater rather than date type fields, so can't use the Calendar pop up, or date formatting. I have a BLOB field that is an image field, but A5V5 seems to want to treat the field as a memo or similar.

A5V5 seems great in a lot of areas, but seems very limited if you need to use an Access .mdb file as the database back end. Why not just use A5V5 data format? Example, web pages (Active Server Pages) created wit the .mdb file as the backend. Visual CE app syncing with the desktop on an .mdb file.

I have seen some posts about version 6.0 out soon, but is there some other way of working around the limitation I mentioned?

Thanks,

Dennis
