BACKGROUND:
-------------------------------------------------------
I created a form with a embedded browse table linked to a child table (one-to-many link). This was the first form I designed for this set. (Set name: DEPOSITS_RECORDS and contains two tables DEPOSITS and RECORDS in a one-to-many link on the field DEPOSIT_ID contained in each database)
Each record in the RECORDS table is marked either as an Income item or Expense Item in the INCOME_OR_EXPENSE field. I wanted Income items to stand out, so I set up an "Enable Color Equation" to:
IF(income_or_expense="I", "Black on Light Green","")
I created a stylesheet using this form and embedded browse. I called the new Style Sheet "BASIC"
PROBLEM:
-------------------------------------------------------
I created a new form. I applied the style sheet that I had previously created. What happened is that all records in the embedded browse table now have a green background.
However, when I look at the properties of the browse table or the properties of individual fields in the browse table the background color is not set to "Green", nor is the "Enable Color Equation" set to anything. Yet the all the fields in the browse table have a green background.
Tried to edit the stylesheet, nothing indicates that a background of green has been set for a browse.
FURTHER TESTS:
----------------------------------------------------
I also created a new form for the DEPOSITS table. On that form, I created an embedded browse that looked up records in the DEPOSIT table. I edited the embedded form and set the "Enable Color Equation" for every field in the form:
IF(Deposit_id="Dep00001", "Black on Green","")
I closed out of the browse and created a new style sheet named "BASIC2." I created a new Form for the DEPOSIT table, applied the BASIC2 template and then added an embedded browse. Same result, all fields show up with a green background.
