At our recent conference, I had the opportunity to meet a gentleman by the name of Bob Moore. Bob is new to the Alpha Community and is a professional photographer, video producer and designer. (More on Bob at the bottom of this message)
He suggested that we should feature, on our web site, videos of some real world customers who have found that Alpha Five has been important in helping their businesses and organizations. He pointed me to an example of what he had in mind on his web site and specifically to the following video link http://www.micromediastudios.com/overview.htm
We have run this idea by a number of our customers who have been enthusiatic about the project - It helps Alpha by showing real world people getting real benefits and it will result in professionally produced videos that can be used by the customer in any they like.
We will be filming these videos in our offices just outside of Boston on August 22nd. The filming will last about an hour and will be professionally edited down into a video clip.
We will do the interview in a Q&A format.
If you are interested in participating in this effort or have any questions please let me know by emailing me at [email protected]
Thanks
Richard Rabins, Alpha Software
(FYI Bob was looking for a tool to quickly create a commerce store to sell his Motor Cross photographs to fans world wide. Soon after the conference he finished this site built using Alpha Five v6 http://63.163.213.234/mxpix/mxpix_pp.a5w
His posting on the message board was:
I went live today with my A5 app.
I built this app within 1 month of exposure to A5.
That includes downloading the program, learning the program, the syntax, logic design, coding and finally publishing this web application.
I had a real problem to solve and A5 allowed me to solve the
problem within what I believe is and unrealistic time frame and budget.
This represents an order of magnitude beyond what can be achieved with other tools.
To all of the Alpha Staff, thanks so much for the tools that helped me to achieve so much in such a short period of time.)
