    Default Dictionary Index File Message

    XP Pro
    Build 1545-2029

    Is there a built-in Spellchecker with v6?

    Tried to use the Tools Spellcheck but get the following message:

    "cannot open the directory index file"

    Looked on the forum and A5 Help but could only find reference to dictionay syntax and no reference to the Tools option.

    Sounds like you don't have everything working properly. Have you compacted the database? Althought it has nothing to do with spell check, build 2031 is out. If all else fails, remove and reinstall A5.
