Greetings !
I'm sure many of you here are already Alpha wizards, but as for myself and two associates, we are now on the path to join you. We just completed the PACE Training, Level-I class with Steve Workings (another of our fellow Alpha-phorum members)who many of you already know or know of.
I think he did a *SUPER* job of presenting A5V6 to us and spent time, aside from the training materials themselves, sharing from his personal experience the different pitfalls and gotchas that you can run into while developing in A5.
It always raises the value of the class when an instructor shares excellent little tidbits rather than simply reading out of the book, like you should be able to do anyway.
In the end we walked away from the Level-I experience with a better understanding of an *EXCELLENT PRODUCT* (Thanks, Richard, Selwyn, Ed and the rest of the Alpha Staff, not here named, too bad *we* didn't make the change a year or two ago with A5V5, or better yet, earlier), a good reference book, a set of example files that build on the lessons from the book, *AND* a brighter future ahead for our project.
I will be attending the Level-II and JumpStart to Web this week and will comment on them after completing. I expect my head to be spinning like a top by Sunday and may need a week or two in a health facility after the week is over, BUT I expect to be very productive with A5V6 in the near future.
Thanx again to Alpha Software, PACE Training, and Steve Workings !
Regards,
Keith
