    Default Auto-log Out Time ?

What is the auto log out time?

It seems too short, as I was reading a rather long thread and when I returned to the forum list, I had been logged out. It is rather annoying to continually enter UID and password. I have even had this happen when I am making a post/reply and got interrupted, I then returned and finished the post/reply but of course it would not submit as I had been logged out.
So, I try to remember to copy the text before I click submit, else I loose it.

Or have a I missed an individual option or setting somewhere?

Default Annoyed at log out time as well

I just went to this area to find a place to complain about the short logout time. I am back and forth reading threads, trying things in my Dbase and have to log back in everytime..... can someone increase the time?
    Thanks

Have you experienced the same log out from more than one machine. I can minimize the ie window or bring another to the front, come back later, refresh the ie window and resume. Don't remember ever being automatically logged out.

If you are having troubles being logged out too quickly, you can click the "Remember Me" box when you login. This will keep you logged in permanently.

    Default Thanks

I had clicked the remember me checkbox before but it didn't remember me during the same session. Also, 1 out of every 5 or 6th login times I get the message in red that the username and password are not in the database and any member registered before some month in 05 has to re-register, I try again and it works fine the next. May be just at glich on home computer, at work now and not having the same problems... thanks for your time

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, specifically for the alphasoftware.com domain.

That means you typed your user-name or password incorrectly. If you read the entire message, the actual error is that your username and/or password are not recognized.
