Hello to all...
I got frontpage & was to work together more or less; I have now created a 3rd party cookie problem; seems now if I run the WAS server and tell it to use a cookie to track the session, the default security settings in internet explorer keep the page from displaying at all... what are the ramifications (if any) of turning session cookies off in the server setup? I plan on authenticating users down the road so the co-ordinator can add/update records etc...They show up as 3rd party cookies now as I am using an inline frame http://www.micomp.ca/chamber/database.htm
A first time viewer has to be experienced enough know how to allow third party cookies from my WAS server...
I am having another issue also... I am a newbie at message board etiquette too...should I start a new thread on it?
I purchased / installed the standalone WAS server license; I have installed it on one computer ONLY; I activated it...it is now showing de-activated (or red instead of green) and if I try to activate it, looks as if it's been installed on another machine?
Has anyone else experienced this?
---- Edit---
shoot I did a search on previous posts and found out my trouble with the activation... I changed my machine name which de-activated it...did I just waste an activation??
Thanks!
Rusty
