Login page

Help! WHY is it that when I log into my web pages via the log in screen, I do not return to the web page I tried to log into.

My grid component Validate code is

The code I put in the web pages is

%>

When I login, the login page comes back up and does not go to the target web page

Move

session.WASAGSolutions.FlagIsLoggedIn = .t.

above the place where you redirect them to a new page.

Hello Steve,

I moved it under the "if session.WASAGSolutions.targetURL <> "" then"

and this did not help. Is it in the right place? For example, I put the code

<%a5
a5w_include("logintest.a5w")
%>

into my web page. When I go to this page, I am directed to login page. I login but it will not go back to my web page.

I meant put it as the first line, but I'm wrong about my solution anyway, I should have tested prior. The AfterValidate reads past the redirect to catch the FlagIsLoggedIn statement.

Do have a solution? It seems that the logintest code does not redirect to the correct page

You do not appear to be setting session.WASAGSolutions.targetURL to anything. The value contained in this variable is what the component uses for the redirect. If nothing is specified, you will always be redirected to MainMenuBar.a5w

Can you show me how I would do this so that all pages are redirected?

I thought I had set it to session.WASAGSolutions.targetURL = request.request_uri
