Re: Need to allow user to invoke "Show All"
Wanda,
OK, easy enough to correct. Here is the approach. You stated that the Site form is opened from other Forms other than the Quick Search Menu form, this last having the buttons that direct the OnInit Query script. What you need then is to have the OnInit Script be a Conditional action. Several ways you can do this, I will share how I do this. I have a global variable generated from every form in my database generated with the OnDeactivate Form event. I name mine vFForm (variable FromForm). This allows me to introduce actions through the OnInit and OnActivate of the destination form specific to arrival from a particular Form. (FYI, each form has a pointer variable A5 creates which I didn't know at the time I created this which you could use to keep things confluent). So have a Global variable established leaving the Quich Search Menu and have the Site Form OnInit Query script conditional to that variable. Then it will only fire when coming from the Quick Search Menu form (or any other you wich to set conditions for). Then add an action following the Query script (which is now conditional) to 'null' the variable (this not to a condition). Done. Any questions, fire it back.
