    Aaron,

There is a wealth of information on all aspects of the Alpha products on the messageboard, but one minor issue crops up every once in a while.

Periodically, I've seen old posts (some from back in 1991) where someone jumps in and posts a comment to it which brings it back onto the 'current' list. The olds posts could well be completey outdated in terms of product version, OS version, etc.

Is there some way you could emphasize the date, or tag posts beyond a certain age to increase the possibilities that a board user would know they are posting to a message that x years old? I know the date shows, but stronger emphasis might lead the 'new' poster to originating a new message.

Unfortunately, this is a problem with every message board I've ever been on. A new user comes on, reads a thread that's 10 pages long and 4 years old, and puts posts "me too" at the bottom.

There's not much we can do about it. However, just because a topic is old, does not mean it is no longer relevent or useful.

I agree wholeheartedly regarding the relevence and/or usefulness. I was just thinking that when someone thinks about posting a 'me, too' to a message that is at the age of good wine, it might be helpful if the date they are responding to caught their attention.
