Default Auto drive search, A4v8 in WinXP

So much clatter! When moving between sets under WinXP, drive A comes alive momentarily, once for each database in the set that needs to be opened. Very annoying! Especially since many of the modules in my applications call for frequently moving from one set to another and then back again. Can this be overcome?

Belay your response! Found the answer in the threads posted at the bottom of the screen. Adjusted BIOS to believe there's no A: drive. A4V8 screams now, silently!!
